This page presents the Sorted List of Local Indicators based on the issue categories developed by combining the issue categories in the Guide to Community Indicators, Second Edition, by Maureen Hart, 1999 with the issue categories on page 19 of the Report from the SDI Group, 1998.

The sorted indicators can be seen by clicking on the Issue categories in the following table. The indicators are those rated 5 or higher in Appendix A of The Guide to Sustainable Community Indicators, Second Edition, by Maureen Hart, 1999 (note, the SDI Group recommends a ranking of 5 or better if possible in order to provide a robust measure of livability):
